How Meetup1 meeting recording works
Quick answer: Meetup1 supports meeting recording when it is available for the account plan and meeting configuration. Authorized meeting roles control recording, and access to saved recordings is protected by the applicable account and sharing controls.
Before relying on recording
- Recording availability can depend on the selected Meetup1 plan, account entitlement, and meeting configuration. Check the current Pricing page before an important event if recording is a requirement.
- The meeting host should also make sure participants understand when a session is being recorded and follow any notice or consent requirements that apply to the organization or location.
During the meeting
- Use the recording control only when it is available to your meeting role.
- Confirm that recording has actually started before relying on it for meeting records.
- Stop the recording when the portion that needs to be captured is complete.
After the meeting
Supported recording workflows include access checks and protected playback or download handling. When recordings are shared, use the account’s available access, expiration, or revocation controls rather than publishing a recording link more broadly than intended.
